8.4.3. Installation of the steering mechanism

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up and, if necessary, adjust position рейки the steering mechanism (subsection 8.4.4 see). 2. Establish the steering mechanism 12 (Fastening of the steering mechanism fig. see the car (without the amplifier)) on a beam 11 forward suspension brackets and screw new bolts of 7 its fastenings, definitively without tightening them. 4. Check up correctness of installation of a sealant 9 (fig. of the Detail of the steering mechanism (a steering without the amplifier see)) on the case of the steering mechanism. 5. Cautiously lift a beam and fix it, having entered thus into a board aperture передка a shaft приводной gear wheels of the steering mechanism. 6. Tighten the corresponding moment bolts of fastening of the steering mechanism to a beam of a forward suspension bracket the corresponding moment. 7. Connect steering bent for to rotary levers. 8. Attach a back support 10 (Fastening of the steering mechanism fig. see the car (without the amplifier)) the power unit to a transmission two new bolts 9. 9. On models with the reception pipe of the muffler which are passing under a beam of a forward suspension bracket, establish a reception pipe with neutralizer. 10. Establish грязезащитный a guard and forward wheels. 11. Lower the car on wheels. 12. Put on a plug 1 карданного the hinge a shaft приводной gear wheels of the steering mechanism and fix a plug a new coupling bolt 2. 13. Insert into a board aperture передка a sealant 9 (fig. of the Detail of the steering mechanism (a steering without the amplifier see)). Be convinced that it has settled down exactly and densely. 14. Establish a casing 2 (fig. casing Fastening карданного a shaft of a steering column) карданного a shaft of a steering column see and fix its two plastic nuts 1. 15. Check up and, if necessary, adjust corners of installation of wheels.
