Replace brake Pads in following cases:

  – A thickness of a frictional overlay of less admissible;
  – The surface of overlays is made oily;
  – Overlays are unsteadily connected to the basis;

The prevention

колодок it is necessary to replace complete sets at once from both parties of a forward suspension bracket.

Do not apply gasoline, diesel fuel or any other mineral solvents to clearing of brakes.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a wheel, preliminary having weakened bolts of its fastening on the car standing on the earth.
2. Remove protective caps 5 (fig. the Forward brake mechanism of type FS III see) directing fingers.
3. Turn out both directing fingers 2 (fig. Fastening of a support of the forward brake mechanism of type FS III see).
4. Remove a support 4 (fig. Removal brake колодок see) from a rotary fist 1, without disconnecting from it a brake hose 5. Suspend a support on a wire to a suspension bracket spring, watching that the brake hose has not been tense, it was not overwound and strongly it was not bent.
5. Take out from a support 4 brake Pads 2 and 3.
6. Remove by means of a rubber pear a part of a brake liquid from a tank of the main brake cylinder.
7. Clear a support. Especially carefully clear of a rust by means of a metal brush of an installation site колодок, check up, that Pads in a support freely moved.
8. Press the piston 2 (fig. piston Cave-in in the cylinder see) into the cylinder 1 by means of the special adaptation 3 or if it is not present, take advantage, for example, of the wooden handle of a hammer. Thus press on the piston in regular intervals in different points on all circle, watching that the piston did not warp.
9. Establish brake Pads according to marks. Колодка with white marks «Kolbenseite» (fig. Internal brake колодка see) should be from the interior of (the piston parties), from lateral aspect it is established колодка with black marks and a clip with three pads.
10. At support installation at first insert in directing 2 (fig. support Installation on a rotary fist) колодок a rotary fist its bottom part so that ledges of a support 1 see and колодок 3 have entered into gearing from the different parties directing 2.
11. Screw directing fingers 4 (fig. the Forward brake mechanism of type FS III see).
12. Establish protective caps of 5 directing fingers.
13. Establish a wheel. Definitively tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel only on the car standing on the earth.
14. Similarly replace Pads in the opposite brake mechanism.
15. Some times press a brake pedal that pistons have occupied working position.
16. Check up and if necessary add a brake liquid to demanded level in a tank.
