The storage battery 1 is established in a plastic casing in подкапотном space on the left side.


The prevention

Address with the storage battery cautiously: the electrolit structure includes sulfuric acid. The drops of the electrolit which has got on a detail of the car or open sites of a body, immediately wash out water with soap, and then смойте a considerable quantity at its finest.

During gymnastics of the storage battery do not smoke and do not use open fire.

At removal of the storage battery at first disconnect a wire from the plug -, and then from the plug +. Connect wires to plugs of the storage battery upside-down.

Do not suppose heating of the storage battery by solar beams.

By preparation for winter operation completely charge the storage battery as the discharged battery can freeze even at small negative temperature.


Switching-off and connection of the storage battery
The prevention

It is forbidden to disconnect a wire from the plug - the storage battery at the working engine or the included ignition is can lead to failure of the electronic equipment.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Wring out in the parties plastic loops 2 and cast away the block of 1 safety locks closed by a cover (3 – the storage battery; 4 – the plug + the storage battery; 5 – the plug - the storage battery; 6 – a latch).
2. Loosen the an inhaling of a nut of 1 fastening of a tip of 3 wires to the plug - the storage battery (2 – a bolt).
3. Disconnect a tip of a wire from the plug -.
4. Take a tip aside that it could not concern plugs.
5. At wire connection tighten a nut of 1 fastening so that the tip 3 could not be shifted from the plug effort of a hand.

Check of level of electrolit

Periodically check electrolit level in the storage battery as at operation it decreases because of evaporation of the water entering into its structure. Level should be between marks MIN and MAX on the battery case. At fall of level of electrolit to mark MIN or more low add the distilled water to mark MAX, having turned out stoppers.

Check of density of electrolit

It is possible to measure electrolit density only in two hours after updating of its level: water should mix up with electrolit. For check completely insert ареометр into an aperture against the stop and select electrolit by means of a pear that the float ареометра has emerged. Division into a float which is at level of electrolit, shows its density. As the density depends on electrolit temperature, it is necessary to make the amendment to result of measurements.

On density it is possible to judge degree of the category of the battery (the tab. electrolit Density see at temperature 25 With, g/sm3). If the density below norm or differs in banks more than on 0,02 g/sm3, it is necessary to recharge the storage battery. After check merge electrolit from ареометра in bank of the storage battery.

Gymnastics of the storage battery


The prevention

If at additional charge of the storage battery you do not remove it from the car, necessarily disconnect from its plugs both wires.

Before gymnastics remove the storage battery from the car, differently "the begun to boil" electrolit can be splashed out on a body and car details.


For battery gymnastics use зарядным or the zarjadno-starting arrangement according to the instruction applied on it.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Wipe the storage battery from a dirt, especially its top part on which there can be electrolit traces.
2. Turn out all stoppers банок and connect wires зарядного devices to battery plugs, observing polarity, then include зарядное the device.
3. Establish force зарядного a current, equal 0,1 capacities of the battery (for the battery in capacity 55 Ач – 5,5 And; in capacity 65 Ач – 6,5 And etc.). During gymnastics periodically correct force зарядного a current.
4. During gymnastics regularly check temperature and electrolit density. If the electrolit temperature exceeds 40 With, reduce зарядный a current twice or interrupt gymnastics and allow to electrolit to cool down to 27 With.
5. If within two hours density rough "boiling" of electrolit does not vary and has begun, means, the battery is completely charged. At first switch off зарядное the device, then disconnect wires from battery plugs.
6. Measure electrolit density in all banks. If it more norms, select a rubber pear a part of electrolit from banks and add the same volume of the distilled water. If the density of electrolit is less than norm, select a part of electrolit and add as much electrolits in density of 1,40 g/sm3 (the tab. Approximate norms of updating of density of electrolit see). After that again connect зарядное the device and charge the battery within 30 minutes Again measure density of electrolit and if necessary finish it to norm as it is specified earlier.
